We’re at the halfway point of the first season, so I’m here to give you an in-depth recap of what’s happened so far. Ariana Jackson (co-executive producer of one of our other CW favs, Riverdale) is behind this reboot and has hired plenty of incredible Black and brown writers and directors to help bring this show back to life. This time around, 4400 is queer and very Black, and quite political.
I mean you could if you wanted extra credit, but these are two different shows. The good thing about this particular reboot though is that you don’t need to have watched the original in order to get into it. Now, what I am a fan of is The Certainly White network a.k.a The CW, they have been giving us wildly addicting shows for quite some time, quite a few of them are queer, and I’m happy to say that this one is too.Ĥ400 is a reboot of, well THE 4400.
Other than my unreasonably deep love for the show Haven, it’s not really my lane, which is probably why 4400 flew under my radar.
